9/2/2020

As our nation, Wisconsin, and local communities deal with the coronavirus pandemic, we want to provide you with an update on how it has impacted our community and the steps we are taking to address it.
A case of COVID-19, the illness resulting from the novel coronavirus, has been diagnosed in an employee at St. Ann Rest Home. The employee is in quarantine at home. We isolated all residents in their rooms. At the time of posting this information no other employee or resident exhibits any respiratory symptoms. If there is any change in the residents’ condition, we will update our blog.
We have notified public health officials as required and are following procedures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. We are taking every step as recommended by authorities to contain the spread. We want to make residents, their families, our dedicated staff, and our community aware of this situation and reassure everyone that we are on top of the situation.
At this time, our focus is on ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff members and we are following proper infection control and emergency preparedness to ensure their safety and well-being. We are communicating all updates to our residents their representatives and employees through an internal communication channels.
We continue to offer every assurance to our members, members’ families, and employees that St. Ann Rest Home will be following all recommendations and will act in the best interests of our entire community.  We thank you for your cooperation and compliance with basic preventative measures we can all practice, such as good hand hygiene, social distancing and staying home when sick. Let us pray together for each other and ask for God’s mercy to help us to overcome this virus.
